FORTUNA — November 2, 2026. Fortuna’s fiscal year 2026–27 Parks and Recreation budget documents list youth and adult sports, seasonal day camps, skating programs and reservations at Rohner and Newburg parks among department responsibilities.

Programs and facilities

The city budget describes youth basketball, adult softball and basketball, summer recreation and private reservations for park buildings, fields and the Firemen’s Pavilion.

A budget description is not a class calendar

The budget establishes the department’s service areas but does not guarantee that a particular skating date, day camp or adult league has open registration. Residents should consult the live recreation schedule.

What the parks department coordinates

The department works with area sports organizations to schedule fields and communal buildings. Groups should get permission for an organized event, verify fees and insurance, and check accessibility and field conditions before collecting registration payments.
